December Daily 2010

I started this blog because I have been wanting to try my hand at blogging (again) and thought I would start out by using this blog to record my 2010 December Daily. This will be my third year following Ali in documenting the month of December. It is such a brilliant idea and I am SO glad I did it that first year. The first 2 years I did 8x8 books with a very mixed assortment of pages, which I really enjoyed. The flexibility with random pages works great for me. I was a little bummed when I first saw that Ali was taking a much different direction this year, and I was going to do the same old style but I quickly realized that with my love of mixing digital and paper scrapbooking and my LOVE OF ORDER that I might just like this way too. So, this year, I am pretty much copying Ali's layout. I have a 6x8 layout on the left, a transparency page of some sort, and then using Ali's 6x8 numbered overlays for the right side. Why reinvent the wheel, right?
